Rev. C. Clark, Pastor M. E. Church,
Hope, N. J., writes: 'I may bo allowed
to speak of my prejudieos io reference to
the stitch mado by jour machine. The
'lockstitch I formerly c 'nsidered.the on
ly successful one, and was disposed ut
terly to discard all others. But experi
ence has served to sweep away all for
mer pejudices, and demonstrate, to my
satisfaction, that the 'twisted loop' stitch
is the best. It is the most clastic, and
the most durable. If put in the wrong
place it is the most easily removed. It
will make beautiful embroidery. In a
word, the Willcox Si Gibbs stitch is phi
losophical, and will endure a greater
strain, and is less liable to rip than any
other."
