Richard Holcomb were on hand
in Omaha for a professional foot
ball game on Wednesday.

Mr. Clarence Estes of Chicago,
111., is spending a two-week va
cation with his brother and sis
ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Estes and family. This is Mr.
Estes’ first visit to Lincoln since
he left 44 years ago. He had not
seen his brother since 1917.

Virgil King has just returned
from a visit with his mother, Mrs.
Hattie King who is ill at her
home in Warrensburg, Mo. Mr.
King has been recuperating the
past -three months from an in
jury received at Northwestern
Iron and Metal works, according
to a statement by his wife, Mrs.
Cedonia King.

ton and Mrs. Otis Washington of 1
Beatrice were Lincoln visitors j
Thursday. Rev. and Mrs. New
ton returned on Sunday to be
present at Quinn Cnapel Women’s

James Dean. She has lived in
Oakland, Calif., for several years.
