Miss Watkins is employed by the Monogram Embroidery shop of Omaha. * * * Raymond “Shorty” Botts and Richard Holcomb were on hand in Omaha for a professional foot ball game on Wednesday. * * * Mr. Clarence Estes of Chicago, 111., is spending a two-week va cation with his brother and sis ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Estes and family. This is Mr. Estes’ first visit to Lincoln since he left 44 years ago. He had not seen his brother since 1917. * * * Virgil King has just returned from a visit with his mother, Mrs. Hattie King who is ill at her home in Warrensburg, Mo. Mr. King has been recuperating the past -three months from an in jury received at Northwestern Iron and Metal works, according to a statement by his wife, Mrs. Cedonia King. * * * The Rev. and Mrs. Alfred New ton and Mrs. Otis Washington of 1 Beatrice were Lincoln visitors j Thursday. Rev. and Mrs. New ton returned on Sunday to be present at Quinn Cnapel Women’s Day. They were accompanied by The Rev.
