A move to cover every county
in the state is being made by the
Arkansas Democratic Association,
according to an announcement
here last week by Dr. J. M. Robin
son, president.
Letters to Arkansas Democrats
informed them “ we wish to or
ganize the voters of each ward in
cities of the first class, and of
each township where colored;
voters reside. Each club will be \
entitled to one delegate to the i
State Convention for the first 50
members or less, and one addi
tional delegate for each additional
50 members.
The Arkansas Negto Democrat
ic Association is promoting a fund
raising campaign, Dr. Robinson
said, and every Negro Democrat
is urged to contribute $1 to the
fund. About 9,000 Negroes voted,
in the Democratic primary last
year, Dr. Robinson revealed, with
3,000 voting*in Pulaski county.
Counties already organized by
his association include Miller, Jef
ferson, Ashley, Sebastian, Hot
