Certain parties, the animus of whom
: it would not be hard to determine.
I are and have been circulating the ab
solute untruth that the Times and
Northwestern is a partneiship con
cern. Without any quibbling, we nail
the report as entirely untrue and
maliciously false to boot, Innocent
ly, many of our good friends have
been led to look upon the report as
! true, and for this reason we take
j pleasure in branding the report, em
i anating from our enemies as only a
| part of their wilfull tissue of lies’ so
! circulated in an endeavor to Ijoost
i themselves by tearing us down.
Shame on such vicious liars.
