Gieselmantno in Columbia Townghip, 0 meilen weft von Wausa, eine gemiitliche Gesellschaft anzutreffen Mehrere befreundete Familien hatten sich daselbst eingestellt um den Geburtss tag der Frau Gieselinann festlich zu begehen. Dieses Ziel ist denn auch zu allseitiger Befriedigung erreicht worden. Wir wünschen Frau Gieselmann eine oftmalige Wiederkehr dieses Tageg Eine wohlgelungene Überraschung wurde letzten Samstag Abend der Frau es Herrn Fritz Schmeckpeper zu teil. Jn nicht geringe Ausregung wurden die Bewohner unseres friedlichen Städ chens gestern Nachmittag versetzt, ali die Feuerglocke ertönte. In großer Eile ging es mit dem Schlauchwagen nach der Engel Bros. Residenz, wo das Feu er ausgebrochen sein sollte. Es stellte sich heraus, daß da auch wirklich ein Feuer war, aber anstatt das Hang in Flammen zu sehen, sah man nur einet Misthuufen brennen Mittwoch Abend letzter Woche war Edas geräumige Haus Herrn und Frau A. A Mantel der Mittelpunkt einer fröhlichen Geburtotagopartir. Co galt idie älteste Tochter des Hauses, Fri. Ugnes, deren Geburtstag am Tage zu vor war samt ihrer Mutter, recht ange nehm zu überraschen. Die Ueberaschung vornehmlich von einer Anzahl junger Leute ausgeführt, ist denn auch tatsäch lich gelungen.Mit Unterhaltung ver band man auch Gesangiibnng siir den Gottesdienst in der Triutatiö Kirche.
