Avoca Wins in the Fourteenth.
One of the best ball games that
was ever played in southeast Ne

day between Avoca ami Cedar
Creek. The game was holly con
tested, as the teams were evenly
matched. ' Both teams put up
some excellent playing, the locals
winning in the fourteenth inning
by heavy hitting. The only bad
feature of the game was that the
crowd was not large enough. Re
member it. takes money to play
ball, and the kind of ball our
(earn has been playing I bey should
be belter supported financially.

game attend. Boost, don't knock.
