One of the best ball games that was ever played in southeast Ne braska was pulled oil' here Sun day between Avoca ami Cedar Creek. The game was holly con tested, as the teams were evenly matched. ' Both teams put up some excellent playing, the locals winning in the fourteenth inning by heavy hitting. The only bad feature of the game was that the crowd was not large enough.
