It is rumored that a deal was made
Tuesday whereby Albert Hunt trades
his residence property for the general
merchandise stock of J. H. Smith., the
change to be made about May 1. Here's
hoping Pert success in his new ven
ture. Sunday evening a tramp stopped at
the lurr.e fit" Aug. Panska and asked to
stay over night, which privilege was
granted him and upon rising in the
morning h1 became so abusive that
Mr. Panska ordered him to leave,
which he refused to do, so there was a
rough house at once and Mr. Tramp
was ejected, also taking with him a
pair of beautiful black eyes and a good
licking. That same evening, Mr.
Tr.imp crime up town and bought. some
nitric acid, asking the druggist not to
label it, but. it was labeled poison
nevertheless. Nov,-, what we would
like lo know i--. what this fellow want
ed with the acid. If he was going to
take it for his own use, all right, but
if he expected revengeon Mr. Par-ska's
family, the law ought to interfere, for
this same tramp has made this terri
tory regularly for the past three or
four years an J is known to be some
what out of line overcome by the
heat cr somctwir.g like that. If he
shows up again, we think lie will be
turned over to the sherilT.
