Absent Moore and Hiatt. Meeting was called to order by the M ayor. Mol ion by Gleeson, seconded by Heermann, that the minutes of the previous meeting be approv ed as read, Motion carried. Motion by Heermann, seconded by Gleeson, that the request of Mr. William Murray to move his Off sale Beer and Liquor License from the present location to the following location of Lot 1, Block 16, Original Town of O’Neill, be granted. A roll call vote being taken on the above motion with the following results. Aye Glee son, Reynoldson, Carroll, McIn tosh, Janousek and Heermann. Nay none. Motion by Gleeson, seconded, by Carroll, that the Council grant John S. Havelka a raise of $25.00 per month starting with the first of July, 1961. Motion carried. ORDINANCE 337-A Council Gleeson introduced the following Ordinance entitled; AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY TO RAI9E FUNDS BY TAXATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED WITHIN THE COR PORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF O’NEILL, NEBRASKA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST TUESDAY IN MAY 1961, AND ENDING THE FIRST TUESDAY IN MAY 1962. Said Ordinance was fully and distinctly read, and on motion duly made, seconded and adopted, it was designated as Ordinance No. 337-A and the title thereof was approved. Councilman Carroll, moved that the statutory rule requiring Or dinances to be fully and distinct ly read on three different days be dispensed with, which motion was seconded by Councilman Heermann, and die Yeas and Nays being called on the passage of a said motion the following Councilmen 'voted Yea; Gleeson, Reynoldson, Carroll, McIntosh, INSURANCE Hospitalization Mutual of Omaha LIFE United of Omaha Oscar Spitzenberger Box 667 Telephone 888 O'NeiH, Nebr. The motion having been concurred in by three-fourths of the Council was declared passed and adopted and said statutory rule suspended. Thereupon said Ordinance No. 337-A was read by its title a sec ond time and was then read at large and put upon final passage. The Mayor stated that the ques tion is; “Shall Ordinance No. 337 A be passed and adopted?” The Yeas and Nays were called and the following Councilman voted Yea; Gleeson, Reynoldson, Carrol, McIntosh, Janousek and Heer mann. Nay none. The passage and adoption of said Ordinance having been con curred in by a majority of all members elected to the Council was by the Mayor declared pass ed and adopted and the Mayor in the presence of the Council sign ed and approved said Ordinance and the Clerk attested the pass age and approval of the same and affix(>d his signature there to. The following is a true, correct and complete copy of said ordi nance. OKDIANCE NO. 337-A An Ordinance providing for a levy to raise funds by taxation of property situated within the cor porate limits of the City of O’ Neill, Nebraska, for the fiscal year beginning the first Tuesday in May 1961 and ending the first Tuesday in May 1%2.
