Emerald Cut Diamonds
In response to the many inquiries, we wish to explain why
Kmernld cut diamond offers more carat weight, quality and cost
being the same up to m carat.
A rough diamond of HX)r; will produce t!0‘. finished weight
when emerald cut. the brilliant (round' will finish 5lrr. and the
Marquise will produce :i6r; finished weight. In other Words the
amount polished away is included in the cost of the diamond and
the emerald cut loses less of its original weight in cutting.
Beyond lla carats all three styles cost approximately the same
per carat quality lx*ing tlie same.
