KENNETH WARING County Clerk FRANK CRONK i Chairman Beatrice Foods Declares Dividend A quarterly dividend of 45 cents per share of common stock was declared by the Beatrice Foods Company following a meet ing of the board of directors Fri day, March 1., in Chicago, 111. This new cash dividend of 45 cents per common share became payable on additional shares of common stock to be distributed on Tuesday, March 5, on the basis of one share for each two already held by stockholders of record Tuesday, February 5. This stock split was announced by the board of directors on December 1. Quarterly dividends of 84 3-8 cents per share on the 3 3-8 per cent cumulative convertible prior preferred stock and of $1,125 per share on the 4 1-2 per cent cum lative preferred stock also were declared by the board of direct ors.
