your corn crop |
off to a faster, |
stronger sta rt 1
Crop specialists report that it is possible to average 8 to 10 bushels
more com per acre from properly applied starter fertilizer. Here’s why:
It helps kick the corn plants off to a fast start while the soil is still
cold ... gives the com a running start on weeds ... builds a more mas
sive root system . . increases stalk population . . increases the up
take of phosphorus.
PEST CONTROL
Lincoln Pellet-Sized Fertilizer is available with Al-Hept, if desired, to
control soil pests at the same time you fertilize. Here are the recom
mended analyses:
LINCOLN Pellet-Sized 10-20-10: The most popular mixed fertilizer i
in Central Nebraska and widely used as a starter on irrigated farms.
LINCOLN Pellet-Sized 1 0-20-0: The “granddaddy" of mixed ferti
lizers in the midlands and still a popular standby.
UNCOLN Pellet-Sized 8-32-0: Developed specifically os a com |
starter.

Other Ratios Available on Request '
Here’s why they do a superior job
• They are a high analysis plant food formulated in Nebraaka
specifically for soils in the midlands
e They are uniformly combined by a chemical process in pellet form C
so that every pellet combines a balanced ration of plant food in a ®
form that every stalk in the field can use
• They are free of dust, free-flowing, easier to store and handle
