Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Alderson
drove to Clearwater Saturday to
visit his brother and sister-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Guy Alderson. They
-eturned Sunday, stopping at Ne
ligh to visit his aunt, Mrs. Lydia
Harris.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Peterson
and family of Clearwater were
Sunday guests in the Kenneth
Werner home.
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Walter and
sons, Duane and Rodger, drove
to Arapahoe Saturday to visit her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wood
land. Mr. Wendland has been
seriously ill for some time. They
returned Sunday. Mrs. C. V. Rob
ertson accompanied them to Hol
brook where she is visiting her
brother-in-law and sister, Mr.
and Mrs. Chjps Haussler, and
family. Mr. Robertson plans to
drive down today (Thursday) to,
bring her home.
Mrs. Eva McCloud, who has
been spending some time in
Mnnesota, returned to Cham
bers Sunday, accompaned by her
son and family. She will remain
as companion for Mrs. Charlotte
Honeywell, who is convalescing
from a broken leg.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Custard and
family of Omaha visited her pa
rents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoff
man, and other relatives on
Palm Sunday.

Keith Goering of Syracuse
has come to help his uncle, Ed
Eisenhauer, with the spring

a few days with her son, John,

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Harley
and family spent the weekend in
Alma and Topeka, Kans. While
gone they attended the silver
anniversary of Mrs. Harley’s
confirmation class at Alma, also
visited relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hoerle at
tended confirmation services at
Clearwater Sunday, March 25.
Their grandson, Donald Hoerle,
was a member of the class.
Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jarman
and Doug attended the wedding
of Elizabeth Childers and Nor
bert Thoele of Lincoln at Genoa
on Sunday.
Joe Daas and J:m Salem went
to Lexington Sunday to attend
a baptismal ceremony for Jo
seph Abdou Salem, infant son of
Mr. and Mrs. Abdou Salem. The
service was held at the new
home of Mrs. Salem’s parents,
Mr. and Mrs. George Maloley.
Dinner was served to over one
hundred guests.

“Engineering in Action Day”.
Films were shown. Speaker for
the event was an Allis-Chalmers

read by the president, Mrs. Har
vey Krugman, who also gave a

club history. Mrs. Melvin Mic
haelis gave a talk on safety
week, which will be July 22.
It was decided that each
member answer roll call at the
next meeting by giving a safety
slogan. Each project group will
also find pictures to make a
poster pertaining to safety to fit
the project they are in.
First project meeting of the
dairy club was held at Clarence
Hansen’s Tuesday, March 27.
Next general meeting of the
club will be held April 20 at the
