All members present. Meeting called to order by the Chairman. Minutes of the previous meet ing were read and approved as read. R. G. Rockey appeared before the Board of Equalization pro testing the valuation placed on the Rockey Impl. Co., Ewing, Nebr. Motion was made by Cronk, seconded by Hubbard that the ■ valuation on this Implement Co. B be reduced from $15,600.00 to I $8,600.00. Motion carried. Tompkins and family returned home on Wednesday, June 8, from Scottsblulf where they had been attending the Nebraska Methodist annual conference as lay delegates from the Inman church. Dur ing the conference, Mr. Tomp eral assembly on the Inman kins gave a report to the gen hay making project. On Monday afternoon, Mr. Tompkins was elected secreta ry of the annual conference board of trustees and Monday evening, as president of the Nebraska Rural Fellowship for the past year, he presided at its annual 250-plate banquet. Dr. Elliot Fisher, of the gen- I erl board of missions, was the main speaker. INMAN NEWS Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Charles Frady spent a short furlough with his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Frady. He has been stationed at Lock land airfield at Amarillo, Tex. His new station is at Scott field, Bellville, 111. Chet Fees, sr., and „ Chet Fees, jr., flew to Grand Is land Sunday, June 19, to at tend the air show. Mr. and Mrs. Dean V. Ste vens and children spent Sun day night, June 19, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Stevens, in Atkinson. They left Atkinson Monday morning for Omaha on business, driving to Sioux City in the evening to visit her sister and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Medcalf, and Bobby, returning home Tues day.
