The bride was attired in a pen cil stripe grey suit with black accessories and a corsage of pink 1 carnations. Her attendant wore a light blue suit with brown acces sories with a corsage of yelliw daffodils. The groom and his at tendant wore navy blue suits with white carnation biutoniers. A 4:00 o’clock wedding dinner was servtd at the home of the bride’s p® rents in Page. Mrs. Smith was assisted in serving the dinner by her daughter, Mrs. Dan Snyder of Orchard. Guests at the dinner were the immediate families of the bride and tre groom’s father and Mrs. Maude Boies. The young couple left Sunday for Hastings, Omaha and Sioux City on a two week trip. They wil be at homeMarch 1st on the farm four miles east of Page recently purchased by the groom. MELCHER-SHINEFFS Miss Esther Melcher, daughte" of Mrs. E. E. Melcher of Page, and Ervin Shineffs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Shineffs of Meadow Grove, were united in marriage Wednesday, January 30, at 12:30 at the Methodist parsonage in ONeill, Rev. Lloyd Mullis offi ciating. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. John Thiessen, of Clearwater, sister and brother’in law of the bride. The bridp was attired in a pea cock blue two piece dress with black accessories. She wore a string of pearls, a gift of the groom. Her attendant wore a blue two piece suit with black accessories. The groom and his attendant wore dark suits. After the cere mony they returned to the home of the bride's mother where they were servel a wedding dinner. Merryman, who died January 31, at his home in Page, after a ling ering ilness, were held Sunlay morning at his home with Rev R. L. Gowan in aharge. Music was furnished by Mtrs. R. L. Gow an, Mrs. Robert Strong and Har old Blaine. Pallbearers were, Roy Haynes, Fred Wood, Will Neubauer, Harry Plarks, Nevan Ickes and Hugh Holliday. Burial was in the Page cemetery. Frand A. Merryman was born at Brunswick, Maine, March 8, 1864. In 1879 he moved with his parents to Iowa, where they lived until his ather's death In 1910 Mr. Merryman and his sister. Grace, came to Holt county and settled on a farm two miles east of Page where they resided until they moved to their home in Page. He is survivel by two sisters. Miss Grace Merryman, who had kept house for him for forty years, and Mrs. Bertha Harsh two nep hews and one niece of Eagle Rock, California. Mr. Merryman was very active until eleven months ago when he fell and fractured his hip. Since that time he has been confined to his bed. About three weeks ago he suffered a heart attack, from which he neve recovered.
