AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE
No. 190 A
An Ordinance of the City of O’Neill,
Nebraska to Amend Section Six
(6) of Ordinance No. 190 A. of
the City of O’Neill, Nebraska
relating to the consent of adjac
ent property owners for construc
tion of filling station tanks and
underground storage: To Pro
vide that the consent of 60 per
cent of adjacent property owners
be required, and to Repeal Said
Original Section.
Be it ordained by the mayor
and council of the city of O’Neill,
Nebraska.
Section 1. That section Six (6)
of Ordinance No. 190 A. of the City
of O’Neill, Nebraska, be amended
to read as follows:
Underground tanks shall be con
structed of galvanized iron or steel
of ample gauge and thickness and
shall be thoroughly coated on the
outside with tar or other rust re
sisting material best adapted to the
soil in which such tanks are placed.
AH tanks, containers and structures
used for the storage of gasoline,
kerosene or other volatile liquids or
oils in quantities more than fifty
(50) gallons shall be built not less
than 200 feet from any house or
building, except by special per
mission of 60 per cent of all per
sons, firms, corporations or indi
viduals owning real estate within j
such area.
Section 3. 1 hat section *> ot Or

O’Neill, Nebraska, be and the same
same is hereby repealed
Section 3. That this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, ap
proval and publication as required
by law.

ies suffered when she was thrown
from a horse.
