Holt County Board of Supervisors
met as per adjournment taken on Jan
uary 31, 1933. All, members present
except Root. Meeting called to order
by the Chairman. Minutes of previous
meeting were read and, on motion,
were approved as read.
Mr. Graver appeared before the
Board in regard to some poor cases in
Ewing.
Board also discussed the matter of
disposal of property recently acquired
in Ewing, Nebraska, and agreed to
make an inspection of same at an
early date.

adjourned until 1:00 P. M.

met as per adjournment. All mem
bers present except Root. Meeting
called to order by the Chairman.
Dr. Douglas met with the Board and
the matter of Red Cross relief and
care of the poor of the County was
discussed.
The Soldiers Relief commission met
with the committee on Settlement with
County Officers and the accounts for
the year were audited.
The following claims were audited
and approved and, on motion, were al
lowed and warrants ordered drawn on
the 1933 estimate of the General Fund:

Holt County Boar dof Supervisors
met as per adjournment. All mem
bers present except Root. Meeting
called to order by the Chairman.
The petition signed by 189 residents
of Stuart Precinct, praying that the
precinct be divided into three Road
District, was presented and read at
this meeting.
It was moved by James and seconded
by Steinhauser that Stuart precinct
be divided into three separate Road
Districts and that said districts be
numbered as follows:
Number One. Beginning at the
northeast corner of Section 9-30-15
thence west to the northfest corner of
Section 12-304-16, thence south thru
township 30-29 to the southwest corn
er of Section 13-29-16. thence east to
the southeast corner of Section 16
29-15, thence north to the point of
beginning.

northeast orner of section 2-30-16,
thence west to the northwest corner
of Section 6-30-16, thence south to the
southwest corner of Section 18-29-16,
thence east to the southeast corner of
Section 14-29-16, thence north to the

southeast corner of Section 4-30-15,
thence west to the southwest corner
of Section 1-30-16, thence north to the
northwest corner of Section 1-30-16,
thence west to the southwest corner
of Section 31-31-16, thence north to
the northwest corner of Section 6-31
16, thence east to the northeast corner
of Section 4-31-15. thence due south
to the point of beginning.
The above motion, on being put to
a vote by the Chairman, was declared
carried, the said Stuart precinct was
divided into three Road Districts and
numbered as shown and the County
Surveyor was ordered to plot the same.
The petitions of School Dists. No.
57 and 22 praying that all moneys re
maining in the Bond Fund be transfer
red to the General Fund of said dis
tricts were read and, on motion, by
James, seconded by Stein, that the
prayer of the petitions be granted.
Carried.
The petition of John F. Storjohann
for refund of tax by reason of being
assessed in the wrong school district,
and also petition of H. B. Finley fob
refund of tax for same reason, were
read and, on motion by Stein, seconded
by James that prayer of petition be
granted and that refund warrant in
the amount of $7.61 be issued to John
F. Storjohann, and a refund warrant
in the amount of $34.70 be issued to
H. E. Finley and that the amount of
this warrant be charged to School
District No. 2.
Carried.
5:00 P. M. On motion, the Board
adjourned until February 17, 1933.
