A committee of Bankers appeared before the Board in regard to re suming a service charge for handling County Deposits. Motion by James, seconded by Skid more, that the action taken by this Board on January 29, 1932, relative to the payment of a service charge to depository Banks outside of O’Neill, Nebraska, be roacinded. Carried. Motion by James, seconded by St«in-j hauser, that Banks outside of O’Neill, handling the County Deposits be paid a service charge of 1% on County Deposits, as provided by Chapter 18, Section 1 of the 1931 Session Laws. Carried. A representative of the Quaker State Lubricant Co. appeared before the Board in regard to supplying lub ricating oil and Grease for Road Machinery. 6:00 P. M. The Chairman appointed a com mittee consisting of James, Root, Steinhauser.and the Chairman to view and inspect some right of way for County Road in Swan Township. Also a committee consisting of Stein and McKim to view and inspect some roads and bridges on the Big Sandy. 11:00 A. This being thhe time set for hearing on the division of Sand Creek Township, the Board took up this matter. A delegation from the East and West side of the precinct were pre sent at this meeting. The following supplementary peti tion to the original petition for divi sion was presented and read at this meeting: To the Honorable members of the County Board of Holt County We, the undersigned, wish to state our approval of the petition presented to the Honorable Board of Supervisors March 29, 1932, asking for the division of Sand Creek Township, and we hereby ask that said petition be granted. This motion, on being put to a vote by the Chairman was declared carried and the prayer of the petition was thereupon denied. The following court orders on Mothers Pensions were read at this meeting: In The District Court of Holt County, Nebraska In the Matter of a Mother’s Pen sion for Mary E. Gibson. ORDER Now, on this 27th day of April, 1932, came on for consideration before the court the petition of Mary E. Gibson for a mother’s pension; said application having been formerly denied and having subsequently been investigated, and refered to the board of sup ervisors; and after a full consid eration the Court finds that the petitioner, Ma^y E. Gibson, is now entitled to receive a mother’s pension; and that the allegations of her petition heretofore filed, the Court finds now to be true; her condition having changed since the former hearing. On consideration whereof it is ordered that a mother’s pension be granted to Mary E. Gibson for $10.00 a month, commencing May first, 1932, and continuing for six months; and the same to be paid to her monthly. It is further ordered by the Court that the board of super visors of Holt County, Nebraska, enter an order directing the pay ment of said pension; and that the Clerk of this Court deliver to the County a certified copy of this order. is R.
