NOW WHEREAS WE. the under
signed, residents request the Board of
Supervisors to disregard the prayer of
the petition hereinbefore filed for the
separation of Sand Creek Town, and
■we hereby remonstrate against the
division of Sand Creek Town into two
towns, and we hereby remonstrate
against the formation of a new town
or towns out of the present boundaries
of Sand Creek Town, and if the peti
tion for the division of Sand Creek
Town and the formation of a new town
has all ready been acted upon by your
Honorable Board, we petition and re
quest the Board to set a date for a
hearing; that said action may be re
considered, and that all interested in
said Sand Creek Town may be present
at a hearing, as to whether or not said

A committee of Bankers appeared
before the Board in regard to re
suming a service charge for handling
County Deposits.
Motion by James, seconded by Skid
more, that the action taken by this
Board on January 29, 1932, relative to
the payment of a service charge to
depository Banks outside of O’Neill,
Nebraska, be roacinded.
Carried.
Motion by James, seconded by St«in-j
hauser, that Banks outside of O’Neill,
handling the County Deposits be paid
a service charge of 1% on County
Deposits, as provided by Chapter 18,
Section 1 of the 1931 Session Laws.
Carried.
A representative of the Quaker

the Board in regard to supplying lub
ricating oil and Grease for Road
Machinery.

and inspect some right of way for
County Road in Swan Township. Also
a committee consisting of Stein and
McKim to view and inspect some
roads and bridges on the Big Sandy.

in regard to having some road re
pair work done in Coleman Township.
Mr. Chas Elkins appeared before the
Board in regard to the renewal of his
Blind Pension.

allowed a Blind Pension at the rate
of |25.00 per month for a period of
two months beginning May 1, 1932.

by the Chairman was declared carried
and the prayer of the petition was
thereupon denied.

meeting:

In the Matter of a Mother’s Pen
sion for Mary E. Gibson.
ORDER
Now, on this 27th day of April,
1932, came on for consideration
before the court the petition of
Mary E. Gibson for a mother’s
pension; said application having
been formerly denied and having
subsequently been investigated,
and refered to the board of sup
ervisors; and after a full consid
eration the Court finds that the
petitioner, Ma^y E. Gibson, is
now entitled to receive a mother’s
pension; and that the allegations
of her petition heretofore filed, the
Court finds now to be true; her
condition having changed since
the former hearing.
On consideration whereof it is
ordered that a mother’s pension
be granted to Mary E. Gibson for
$10.00 a month, commencing May
first, 1932, and continuing for six
months; and the same to be paid
to her monthly.
It is further ordered by the
Court that the board of super
visors of Holt County, Nebraska,
enter an order directing the pay
ment of said pension; and that the
Clerk of this Court deliver to the
County a certified copy of this
