If you neglect kidney backache,
Urinary troubles often follow.
Doan’s Kidney Pills are for kidney
backache, and for other kidney ills.
O’Neill citizens endorse them.
Mrs. L. E. Grass, O’Neill, says:
“Doan’s Kidney Pills certainly are
fine. I have kept my kidneys in good
condition by using them whenever
they have become disordered. Before
I tried Doan’s, I had frequent attacks
of kidney trouble. I suffered from a
dragging ache in my back, felt weak
and tired out and my kidneys acted
irregularly. Doan’s Kidney Pills re
lieved me and I have kept them on
hand since.”

Greater Telephone
Revenues Are Required
High Costs HaVe Increased Operating 1
■
Expenses . |
Since the European war began there has been a steady increase in 1
the price of nearly everything we use. There has not been a corres- 1
ponding increase in telephone rates. 1
In order to meet the high cost of telephone operation, a revenue 1
4) in just proportion to the expense must be obtained. |
The necessity for more telephone revenue is easily understood. §
The cost of telephone operation has steadily advanced both be- 1
cause of the increased cost of material to the telephone company and 1
the increased living expenses of employees. 1
■
| The consumer has realized the necessity of paying more for rent, 1
for food, for clothing and for transportation. The telephone indus- 1
try has been affected by the same conditions which have produced 1
higher prices in all of the necessities of life. I
If this Company is to continue to furnish telephone service to the public i
it must obtain such rates as will produce a revenue sufficient to cover the cost 8
of providing the service. 8
