Tho Catholic GirlB' club was de
lightfully entertained at a business
and social meeting' Wednesday even
ing at tho homo of Miss Vaunlta
Hayes in the Fourth ward. A pleas
ant ovening was spent with cards and
tho officers for the ensuing year were
elected,.
In the games tho first prize, a plato
was won by Mrs Frank McGovern
and Miss Ida Ottenstcln won second
prlzo. Miss Irene O'Donnell, who re
cently came to this city, waB a guest
of tho club and was taken in ns a
member Wednesday evening. All of

as secretary.
