pendicitis. He Is a rancher and lives

week by the death of his eldest
brother, Thomas Cox, who died from
asthma and pneumonia. Deceased
was fifty-live years old and is sur
vived by a son. who Is eight years
old. The funeral services were held
Thursday afternoon at Kansas City
and Interment was made In a cem
etery in that city.

The first of a series of formal
dances this winter to be held at the
Elks club rooms Is scheduled to take
