Springs Tuesday morning to select a
road from Alliance to that Dla.ce.
This road will be marked after its

and other fruit, and that the visit
was a most enjoyable one. While

The masonry on the new Keeler
building has been completed to the
second floor, and work is being rush
ed on the second, story, which ex
tends back thirty feet from the front.
It is probable that it will be ready
for occupancy about the middle of
September.
Miss Corrine Mollrlng gave a de
lightful theatre party Tuesday even
ing in honor of her friend, Katherine
Randall, of Crawford, who is here
visiting her. Twenty girls composed
the party, and after the show they
repaired to a confectionery where
light refreshments were served.
D. J. Nelson and family went to
the Hills Wednesday to camp for a
few days.
J. 8. Pryor has assigned his groc
ery store to the creditors, and Mon
day morning" the store was closed.
Mr. Pryor. had been in business here
about a year.
County Engineer nKigbt has Pre
pared a set of plans for a concrete
bridge to be built a mile and a half
north of Alliance, about one hundred
feet from the Powell farm. A frame
bridge was formerly at this place.
but it was washed out by the recent
high waters, and the road was wash
ed out for a distance of several feet :
wide. The new bridge will be ten
feet wide, sixteen feet long and eight
feet high.
Ceorge Hills spent the latter part
of lost week visiting with relatives
and friends in Denver.
Miss Evelyn Noggle arrived Wed
nesday morning from Fl. Morgan,
Colo., for a visit with ber father and
her sisters, Miss Pearl Noggle and
Mrs. F. D. McCormlck.
