year. At the same time the local market
has had a good many California. Oregon

Naturally enough, the market on western
leers, which was abnormally high two
weeks ago, la breaking under the In
fluence of the Increased receipt and Is
carrying down the market on cornfeds
as well. While strictly choice to fancy
rattle hsve not shown so much decline,
the general market on the bulk of the
cattle coming forward was lofjifo lower
again today, or around iln lower for the
two days this week. "
Very few eornfed cows and heifers are
coming, most of the stuff being slippery
