Wheat and corn made small gains to
day. The receipts were pretty good and there
was a fair demand for all the cereals on
the list
Wheat advanced a cent, while com was
quoted unchanged to a half higher. Ct
ilei-llned thre-quartr to a cent. The
receipta of this cereal were good, but
there was only a fair uemand
There will be a good demand for new
wheat a soon as It la In condition for
shipping and milling, and It la likely that
fair prices will be paid for all merchant
able grain.
The com crop as a whole looks good,
although It Is thought to be about three
weeks late.
The oats market may be called bearish.
Oats are being out In many sections and
the movement will be heavy and Is ex
pected early.

sharply lower tendency all along the line,

Shippers bought their hogs at figures that
