made the place for a peace conference of
European nations now at war.
EXTENSION OF EXHIBIT
SPACE GRANTED JAPAN
Japan has asked for Increased exhibit
space at the Panama-Pacific Internatlnal
exposition. The communication was from
Acting Consul Oeneral T. Nnmano, who
had authority from the government and
Commissioner General Yamawakl. Ap
plcation was made for -10,700 square feet
of sdditlonal specs In ths palace of manu
factures, and 1,708 square feet of addi
tional space In the palacs of food products.
Ths application for the space In the palace
of manufactures hss been granted and
this brings the total to IS.1I8 square feet
for Japan. The original allotment for
Japan In the palacs of food products was
4,300 square test.
