age, had her marriage to Abner Travis,
aged 20, annulled In Judge Kennedy's court
Wednesday on the grounds her youth made
the union Illegal. The wedding was . tha
result of a romance of two weeks last
spring. Lucy and her youthful husband
met at a trolley party, fell In love and de
cided to marry without the knowledge of
their parents. Abner secured 'the license
two weeks after they met by swearing ths
girl wss 19 years old. Then hs telephoned
her and they met In County Judge Leslie's
office and were married. They did hot live
together, but the yOUng wife went back
home. As soon as her mother learned about
