men. Miss N. E. Sumner, the cashier,
resisted the efforts of a third thief tc
open the cash register. Only when she hsd
been struck several times snd a revolver
pressed against her head did the cashier

amounting to about $90. Over $300 in bllli
had been placed on the desk nearby, but
had been swept to the floor by Miss
Sumner, where It was found after the

robbery by telephons and when thsy
arrived she was assisting In caring for
several of ths girls who were hysterical
from fright. .
