When Eteve Blum and
Mary Trumble came to

didn't plan on getting ac

But they did and Fri
day they were named win

displayed the most lead
ership in their years at
UNL The winners must
also be juniors.
DeCoster said the award
i3 voted on by both stu

He said about two dozen

to get it," Trumble said. "I
feel very honored."
Both Blum and Trum

activities with involvement
in only a couple of groups.
"I just got in a couple of
activities and really liked
it," Blum said. "From there
I just got into other acti

in one thing you kind of
get pulled into others,"
Trumble said.
Trumble, a member of

in campus activities has
enabled her to put skills
she learned in the class
room to a practical use.
"Things like communi

things are something you
can read about but you
have to be able to apply
them to real situations."

Q.
A.
Is sixty percent tha umz price paid for textbooks around the country?
Definitely not! Most stores in the United States pay only 50 percent for
books being used csssn. The University Bookstore is one of only a very
fev which per CO percent. And remember we pay cash.
What cboutpsperbssks? Docs the same policy apply
Yes. The University Bookstore does not penalize you on text paperbacks.
If they are being used cgdn, and if the bookstore needs them, they are still
worth CO percent of the publisher's current list price. The only exception
is English paperbacks which are bought at wholesale prices.
If the publisher's price had gone up since I bought my books, will I receive
the benefit of thst price increase?
Yes. For instance, if you bought your book for $9.00, and the publisher's
. list price is now $10.00, you will get $6.00, not $5.40.
Remember, Bring Us Your Books During Finals Week. Books will be bought
May 2-4 & 7-11, 8:30-4:30 at North Union Main Lounge and 9:00-4:00 at
