The. Union music activities
committee has a "Mystery .Tune"
stunt all its own! And with the
prizes, too. '
During its regular Thursday
afternoon hour of recorded music
in the Union music room at 4:15
p. m., the committee this week
will stage a miniature music con
test, offering to record albums as
prizes for students who can name
both title and composer of six se
lections. Called "Musiquiz," the event is
the first of its kind to be spon

Asking the questions will be
Sally Sipple, committee member,
Questions on both popular and

prizes awarded accordingly. An

sponsored at the coliseum by .the

which has achieved popularity

Wednesday, May 5, 1948
Innocents .
(Continued from Page 1)
committee set up by the Innocents
will verify the point totals and
determine the winners.
Upon announcing the program,
Innocents President Johnson said
that he believed the scholarship
activity competition would fill an
existing gap in the organization of
campus activities and that it
would be a fitting reward for the
ideal combination of scholarship
and activity which most campus
organizations seek to achieve.
Trophies Presented.
Duane Munter, head of the In
nocents committee on awards, de
clared that the trophies for the
past year will be presented this
spring. All activities during the
past year prior to campus spring
elections and recent organization
elections and initiations will be
included.
Scholarship points will be
awarded on the basis of the posi
tion of organizations in relation to
the standings of other men's or
ganizations. The number of organ
ization members on the honor roll
announced at the 1947 honors con
vocation will be figured in the
scholarship totals.
