The Iowa State Cyclones will be on hand for a two-game series Friday and Saturday. Among their accomplishments this season the Cyclones hold wins over Minnesota and Oklahoma Both of these nines soundly spanked Coach Frank Smagacz's club in games this spring. Last week the Ilusker baseball team fell before a powerful Okla noma team 11-2 and 15-5. Too many extra base blows by the Sooners led to the Nebraska losses the visitors amassed five home runs and three triples during the two games. Sooner golf and tennis teams made the Oklahoma invasion en tirely successful. Each squad scor ed two wins over Nebraska ag gregations to give the southerners a clean sweep of the weekend competition. Golf and Tennis Husker golfers were closer to victory last week, losing by a single point on Saturday to 84, but Friday the Sooners post ed a comfortable 124-5 win. On the tennis front Bob Huxton was the only Nebraska netster to score a triumph. His singles match de cision Saturday enabled the Husk ers to escape a whitewashing for the second consecutive day. Baughan led the Taus with six points, while Bauer, with three counters, looked best for the Phi Delta Theta team. To the victor goes a team trophy and 200 points toward the Jack Best award. Earlier in the evening the Sigma Nu water boys had edged the Phi Kappa Psi six by the score of 11-8 to take third place in the university standings. Far ner slammed in seven points for the Sig Nus in a one-man scoring spree that overcame the team scoring of the Phi Psis, Van De car and Howard. Each racked up two points to lead the losers.
