8 DAILY NEBRASKAN Friday, October 2, 1942 Wedding Bells will ring for Alpha Phi Marion Fatton and ATO Harold Larmtm. Marion is going to Washington with Harold's parents where she and Harold will take the final vows Oct. 10. Hayracks are on the schedule for several Betas and their dates this Satur day night. Among the needles in the straw will be John Safford and Theta Marge Kenner, Chi O Ruth Brickell and "Bernie" Sme thers, Ken Peters and Peggy Miles, also of the KAT hut. Five Beta pledges have set out on a little project, that is trying to get a date with DG pledge Anne Crosby. Even the actives sigh when her name is mentioned, but the pledges have been beating a path to the Delta Gamma door. Anyway, may the best man win. Back to the hayrack ride, a couple that has really been seen around together a lot lately and will take in that little party is Dorothy Theissen, Theta, and John Mc Carthy. The brothers predict a pin hanging soon. Confused are the AOPis over Sister Mary Allon and Delt Lloyd London. They started dating last year and the letters really flew thick and fast during the summer. This fall they decided to get together again and last Saturday was on their list. They decided to make this next one a week end. Everyone is beginning to wonder if this won't soon be a steady deal, but Mary keeps the whole thing in the drrk, and the sisters unhappy. Dorothy Latsch AOPi and Lt. Bob Norton, ATO, are being married tonight here in Lincoln. After the ceremony they will be off to Csmp Shelby, Miss., where Bob is stationed. Also yesterday AOPi Jean Sundell and Alp'ia Sig Dale Kinsman were married in Omaha. Dale just re ceived his wings in the army air corps last Saturday. They are planning to make their home in Texas. Alpha Chi "Aggie" Fox, who is only about five feet tall, was keeping her eyes on the stars the other night. George Hamberg, a Sig Alph at Boulder, from "Aggie's" home town, stopped by to see her on his way to the Great Lakes Naval training station. George is six feet three but definitely, tall and handsome. Patriotic Decorations and a six piece band will be the feature of the DU's Victory open house party Saturday night. Danc ing and eating will be Bud Wehr man with Alpha Chi Mary Lou Holtz, Frank Meroncy with Kappa pledge Dolly Clinton, newly elected DU President Dick Gccsaman will be there with Theta Anne Sea crest, and Rog Anderson will take it all in with Theta Tom Mc Quistain. The Innocents will be lunchir.g together Satur day noon before the game in the main dining room of the Union. The Mortar Boards will be at the Corr.husker. Take a good look, because they will wear, for the first time, their new black blazers trimmed in gold with the Mortar Board emblem. Their outfits are completed with black tailored skirts and white blouses. The gals of the senior honorary will be seen around the campus this win ter in these official costumes. SAE Bill Hawkins was afraid to enter the doors of a sorority house last year so several of the brothers Just picked him up and deposited him in the living room of the Kappa house.
