Nebraska-Missouri game cap thins Roy Pctsoh and Bob Bur luss, together with Lincoln movie critic, Barney Oldfield, will open the celebration of the world pre miere of RKO's "Too Many Girls" at 12:45 p. m. today, when they toss two autographed footballs from the roof of the Varsity theater. The festivities will be broadcast over KFOR. The premiere showing of the picture, which is one of 15 such events in selected college towns, will be held today. The picture is scheduled to run here for one week. In celebration of the opening, the UN coeds who catch the auto graphed footballs will be given tickets to the show for their so rorities or 20 of their friends. To compensate those who do not catch the footballs, balloons con taining 100 free tickets to the show will be released from the roof of the building at the same time. Guests of the Nebraska CBS narrator holds Hubbard honor award Awarded only 11 times since its establishment in 1907, the Hub bard Medal of the National Geo graphic Society, is held by Dr. Koy Chapman Andrcvr, director of the American Museum of Nat ural History, who is heard every Wednesday over CBS as the nar ator on the "New Horizons" ge ography and science program of Columbia's American School of the Air." Dr. Andrews won the, medal for his more than twelve years of ex ploration in the Gobi desert in central Asia. Until his brave band of explorers in the desert uncov ered dinosaur eggs, skeletons of the cldert well as the largest known land mammals, and geo logical strata previously unknown, wience was in complete ignorance of the existence of the richest fos sil fields in the world. The CBS expert has been a nat uralist and explorer 5ince boyhood. Born in Beloit, Wis., he made his earliest observations of bird and animal life in the woods and rtreams near his Wisconsin home. Tower of one of Lincoln's out lets for the Central States Broad casting System will be Increased to 250 watts straight thru instead of 250 watts by day and 100 watts by night, shortly, when KFOR acts on its new FCC permit and installs its new transmission equipment. Along with the announcement of the permit, yesterday, KFOR officials announced that the sta tion's transmitter would be moved from its present location to the southwest corner of 48th and Vine streets. Preliminary work will start im mediately, according to Mark Bul lock, chief engineer, and may be finished by Jan. 1. DOWN-TO-EARTH FLIERS. A pair of down-to-earth fliers are Parks Johnson and Wally But terworth, stars of KFAB's "Vox Pop" program. They did their fly ing last week at Floyd Bennett field where the commanding of ficer of the naval reserve unit there gave them a taste of what the students go through. Both are still unsteady on their feet after a session in the Lank training plane, which, although it doesn't leave the ground, gives the occu pants the sensations to be had while flying under all kinds of weather conditions. The pair will be back at the field tonight at 6:30 to interview the men and officers stationed there, for their weekly program. PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS. Speaking from the White House, President Roosevelt will deliver a message to the tenth an nual New Yoik Herald Tribune Forum on Current Problems, to be heard over KFOR at 3:45 p. m. Theme of the president's ad dress is "Saving Democracy in the Western World." SPECIAL BROADCAST.
