Pi Kappa Alpha announces the pledging of Wayne Anderson of Laurel, Howard Harms of Firth, and Otis Piatt of North Platte. A grant of $150 has been given by the American Medical associa tion to Dr. II, G. O. Hoick of the department of physiology and pharmacology to aid him in his studies upon sex differences in re gard to certain drugs. Dr. Hoick recently published an extensive ar tlcle about his animal investiga tions in this field in the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutlos. He has discussed his research at meetings in Omaha Memphis and in Sweden. DEBATE CANDIDATES TRY OUT WEDNESDAY Prof. While to Organize New Teams From List Of Aspirants. Those who expect to try out for the debate teams to be chosen on Feb. 22 should get their names to Prof. H. A. White at HI Andrews hall by Wednesday noon.
