Wisdom, so the prophets say.
Comes only with the years;
That broken Jaws and busted hearts
Cannot be healed with tears,
While I, with face, one hall of whlcti
l.i twice the other side
Must grin and hear It, wishing by
The fates that I had died.
Then cornea the sprout who titters
as
U throws me a remark
Of the man who surely gets his dues
Who rambles In the dark;
That scandal such as I have penned
Has finally answered back
n;l rlsm, full of rape, to give
My law a dirty smack.
( rewell" world Why turn against
me?
When I need your cheer,
Oh, why should I be so despised?
My words are not a sneer.
rut even though you think my face
Id done with a scandal, yet.
I'm loaded with a thousand tales
And everyone you'll get:

This fair Is the second of its kind
to be given at Nebraska. The fir3t
fair was held In 1916, but the war
which followed made It Impossible for
further fairs to be held.
Most of the older students in the
University still have vivid recollec
