Any Student The monthly meeting of the Math club was held Thursday evening, De cember 14. All present were enter tained by Professor Brenke in a talk on "Interpolation." Professor Brenke showed bow by taking a number of differences, logarithms could be obtain ed very accurately, the greater number of differences, the greater the accu racy would be. He also explained how we could obtain the number of shot in a pyramid. The solution of the problems is based on the theorum of the binomial coefficient A business meeting followed in which Important business was taken care of. The club voted to give a prize for the best blue print poster design made by any student. The con test would be open to any person wish ing to try for the prize. The meeting was rounded out by several students who took part in the explanation and solution of the bulle tin board problems, which had been posted in the Mechanic Arts hall the past month. 12 NEW MEMBERS FOR UNION SOCIETY Wayne Hanlin Elected President at Special Meeting Other Officers The Union Literary society initiated twelve new members last Friday even ing.
