The annual formal party of Kappa Alpha Thota sorority was given at, the Lincoln ball room Saturday evening, seventy-five couples being present. Palms and ferns, and pink and white roses were used in decorating. Before the party, the sorority enter tained at a formal dinner party at the chapter house, for sixty guests. The flower scheme was carried out with tulips. At a noon luncheon at the Lindell hotel, pink roses made up the centerpieces of the tables. ... The out-of-town guests enteretained Saturday included Helen Overstreet, York; Helen Daniels, Aurora; Mar garet' Dodge, Fremont; Roma Wil liams, Grand Island; Ruth Fitzgerald, Greenwood; Evelyn Geddes, Grand Is land; Bernice Borcher, Nebraska City; Laura Wood, Hastings; Charlotte and Bedwell, Louise Bedwell, Omaha; Mar garet Laurie, Leota Simms, Ruth Lind ley, Omaha; and Mrs. J. E. Kirkpat rick, Los Angeles. The chaperones "at the party were Miss Mary Graham, Miss Ruth Lind ley, Arthur Hiltner, and Guy E. Reed. The Glee club dance Saturday eve ning was attended by forty couples. Mrs. Carrie Raymond and Miss Clara Conklin were chaperons. The Delta Gamma freshmen gave a house dance Saturday evening.
