Three Auto Bandits Make Jail Delivery - p Llmon, Colo., Oct. 17.—Three au tomoblle bandits, whom Sheriff Cor der of Weld county was taking to Greeley, Colo., from Oakley, Kan., broke Jail here early today and es caped. They were In the prison ap parently asleep at 2 o’clock when the night marshal made hie rounds, hut when the sheriff culled to get them at 8 o’clock, he found the door of the new Jail standing wide open. The men when arrested gave the names of Jackson, McDonald and Shaw. They were charged with stealing an automobile belonging to a banker in La, Salle, Colo. They were arrested at Oakley last week and the sheriff left to bring them back for trial. They arrived In I.1mon last night and were placed in jail. Instead *f Bleeping, the prisoners apparently had torn up the tiling on the floors end wall of the new jail, had procured a metal bar and pried the lock of the barred door and escaped.
