Cather passed away suddenly Saturday evening at the family home in Cnthcrton Town ship. Tho deceased was an old pio neer of this county having: come here with her husband in the fall of 1873. The deceased was bom in Boston in August 1816 and was about 76 years old. Besides her husband several sons and daughters are left to mourn her death. The funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, Rev. Sutherland of Grand Island in charge after which interment was made in the Catherton cemetery. Robertson and Miss Tony Havel and Frank Christy and Miss Helen Sutton after deciding to sail on the matrimonial 6ea went to Franklin where they were married by County Judge Thomas Robertson. Mr. Robertson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Robertson while the lady of his choice is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Havel of this city anil is attending the high school. Frank Christy is a 6on of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Christy and is working with his father who is a contraotor. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sutton residing south of Inavale and is also attending the high school. Both girls are in the tenth grade- Their many friends extend congratulations and trust the romantic beginning they have made will always lend a happy color to their married life. F. hall where gamos, dancing, and lunch was enjoyed all spending, a delightful evening. A May pole and bcautlfuy May baskets wero appropriately in evidence, and af tor many very amusiug games had been participated in a deliaious lunch was enjoyed. After which those who oared to dance took part in this recreation. The committee responsible for the wonderfully successful evening's enter tainment consisted of the following: Mrs. Mildred Amack, Miss Hattie Christian, Mrs. Mlra Jones, Miss Fay Pcgg, Mrs. Barbara Pharcs, Mies Bes sie Havel and Miss Grace Davis. Such persons while engaged in such road work shall be under the .supervision and control of the Roard Overseer or Patrolman of the Road gang he is working and for this purpose the County Ju.il shall extend and include the Public High way?, of the county. Motion carried. The Bond of John Ilnnsen as Road Overseer of Dist. No. 11 B was ap proved by Board. The bonds of the following Road Patrolmen were approved by Boaid; Wm. R. Topham, Wm. E. Beitlcr Jr., Geo. A. Merrill, 'Fred Foe. A petition was presented to tho Board signed by J. L. Ashmore and 27 other residents of Glenwood Prc sinct asking for the appointment of S. F. Green as Justice of the Peace of Glenwood Precinct. Motion mado by Chaplin seconded by Stumphenhorst tti&t the aforesaid petition be granted Motion carried. Tho County Judge informed tho Board that a bequest of $50.00 under the will of Willnrd Trine in 1010 had never been claimed by party entitled to same, and under tho laws of the state of Nebraska this amount would revert to tho General Fund of Web ster county. On motion mado and carried County Judge Ranney was instructed to pay this $50 to tho Coun ty Treausurcr. In tho matter of T. M. Boner who had paid his 1921- tax on the S of SW&of section 16-2-10 under protest, no refund was mado and County Treasurer instructed to issue the ic gular tax-receipt for tho amount as shown on 1921 -tax books.
