| Social *Briefs j Jane Molden, daughter of Mrs. William Molden, 1922 U Street, was graduated from Preston Theo logical seminary in New Jersey, June 3, with a Master’s degree in Religious Education. Miss Molden received her Bach elor’s in Cleveland, O., in 1948. Mrs. Pauline Ivory was recipient of a birthday gift Tuesday, June 3, when she was feted by her co workers: Mrs. Frances Robinson, Mrs. Verta Finley, Mrs. Basilia Bell, Mrs. Loretta Martin, Mrs. Edna Page and Mrs. Wilma Todd. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dickerson of Los Angeles, Calif., were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Allen. Mr. Allen and Mr. Dicker son came to Lincoln 43 years ago. Jeanne Malone returned home on Saturday after attending the Social Work conference held in Chicago. Miss Malone enjoyed the trip as a graduation gift from her mother. Mr. J. H. Dean is recuperating , at home after being hospitalized i for several days. Mrs. Basalia Bell has returned from Chanute, Kan., in company with an aunt, Mrs. Amy Fletcher. Mrs. Rosena Dean returned to Lincoln after visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Witte of Cleveland, O. Dorothy Green was hostess at dinner Friday. Her guests included Robbie Powell, Miss Alta Gal- ' loway of Rockford, 111., her father, Mr. Fred Galloway, and the Rev. 1 R. H. Powell. c Mrs. R. H. Powell, who attended ® a mother-daughter banquet in x Omaha Friday, entertained on € Tuesday for her sister, Miss Alta \ Galloway. Out of town guests were n Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gates, Mrs. Alda Gunn and Mr. Charles Dixon ^ of Grand Island. The Rev. and Mrs. W. I. Monroe left Monday for a trip to Chey enne, Wyo. i Mrs. Eugenia Brown, daughter i of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Simms is * home for the summer and is in graduate school working on her ^ master’s degree in music. Mrs. ^ Brown heads the music depart- ^ ment at Jarvis Christian College *• in Hawkins, Texas. I Miss Winifred Perpener of Fort * Worth, Texas, is the guest of Mr. ' and Mrs. A. E. Simms ancl Mrs. 1 Brown for two weeks. Miss Per- 1 pener is a graduate of Jarvis Col lege, Hawkins, Texas and will re ceive a scholarship to Drake Uni versity in September to continue her vocal work. Sprint Casserole 8 baby carrot* 1 email cauliflower 1 cup fresh pea* % lb. soft cheese 2 cups medium white sauce Chopped parsley METHOD: Cook vegetables (cauliflower broken into flower lets) in boiling salted water until tender. Drain Place in greased casserole. Melt the cheese in well seasoned hot white sauce; pour t over vegetables. Bake in mod ;rate oven, 350 degrees F. until horoughly heated. Serve gar nished with parsley.
