At Pitt, good old Jimmy Joe Robinson, rated by Coach Wes Fesler while he was the Panther tutor as the Pitt’s best back, is back in the harness after a stretch in the Army, and rarin’ to go. Teamed up with Jimmy Joe will be another promising sepia back from last year—Robert E. (Gen eral) Lee. While up at Washington Jeffer son, the brilliant Deacon Dan Towler, halfback extraordinary, and now named “Mr. Inside,” will be dominating the spotlight again. But this season he will have a capable little backfield scooter named Cooper who has already gained the title of "Mr. Outside.” So just watch the headlines for names like Taliaferro, Towler, Lee.
