Uncle Btsn Hempel now numbers a
live eagle among his museum curiosi
ties. It is one of two that were shot,
crippltd and captured yesterday by
Allen Slagel, living about ten miles
south of here. The eagle is a large
one, measuring seven feet from tip to
tipcf wings, and Mr. Hempel hopes to
keep it alive. If it dies, however, he
will have it stuffed and mounted and
place It in his museum with h
other curiosities.
