boon arrested at Horshey on tho charge
of wifo desertion and taken back to
LaPorto, Ind., for trial. From a paper
of that place it is learned that Stone
was assessed a fino of $10 and coats and
disfranchised for three years. His at

ness, Stono told tho story of his life.

that a man named Knott, who lived
