The College of Agriculture says that Indications are that despite the realization of a nhortaiie during the fall, the situation is still critical, and the man who buys late will prob ably pay more and get poorer corn than If he buys at once. This situa tion seen s to be particularly true in the North Platte country. The Col lege says that those who cannot get sound 1915 corn had better fall back on the 1914 supply If It Is to be had. as It Is for the most part In excellent condition. A number of farmers are looking up their supply of alfalfa and sweet clover seed for the coming season. Again, the indications seem to point to the fact that the supply of good quality Is limited and that the early buyer, with more time in which to test batnples, will have a better chance of gettine the hei If. tilt tlQtff tit a cheaper price. Many people never suspect tbelr kidneys. If suffering from a lame, weak or aching back they think that it la nniv muscular weakness: when urinary trouble sets In they think it will soon correct itself. And so 11 is with all the other symptoms of kld nev disorders. That Is where the danger often lies. You should real ize that these troubles often lead to dropsy or Brlght's disease.. An ef fective remedy for weak or diseased kidneys Is Doan's Kidney Pills. Res idents of this vicinity are consianny testifying. Mrs. O. Pearson, Sidney. ieor., says: "I suffered considerably from weakness and lameness In my back and other symptoms of kidney trou ble. Doan's Kidney Pills strength ened my 'kidneys and relieved the aches and pains. I gladly recom mend Doan's Kidney Pills to other kidney sufferers." Price 60c, at all dealers. Don t simply ask for a kidney remedy get Doan's Kidney Pills the same that Mrs. Pearson had. Foster-Mllburn Co., Props., Buffalo, N. Y. Adv Jan Cost of Carrying Water Twenty-live galons of water Is the average dally house use on most farms. It should be 150 gallons. To carry 25 gallons means at least five trips, and If these trips are up a hill 12 feet high, as Is often the case, a 160-pound man does as much work In carrying his body up the hill for 25 days as is required to dig and wall a well 4 feet In diameter and 12 feet dee. Most wells are about 50 feet deep; then In four months' time a man has done sufficient work In car rying water up a 12 foot hill to dig a well and wall It right at his back porch, and la ten years he has wast ed 30 wells and still has no well.
