William J. Bryan, Lincoln's distinguished democrat, and family are now oc
cupying, their new home at "Fairview," four miles southeast of the city near
Normal. The house is built of red brick and stone trimmings, the architctural
effect being very pleasing. The property represents an expenditure of $20,000 and,
with its fine view of the surrounding country, the home is one of the most
desirable of any In or about Lincoln.
