Senator andHrs. Thurston left on an
afternoon train for Philadelphia, at
which place Senator Thurston will de
liver a speech today, lie will return to
Lincoln February 20th, and remain
several days.
The annual ball of the Burlington IL
R. enginemen will be held at the Audi
torium on Monday evening, February
19th, and as the proceeds will be ap
plied on the Auditorium fund, the gen
eral cooperation ot the cit:zens is cor
dially invited to assist in making it a
grand success.
