A very pleasant evening was spent in playing euchre. Mrs. Usher and Mr. Harris won the royal prizes and Mrs. Munson and Doctor Finney won the boody prizes. Mr. Ernest Ames ha3 returned from an unpleasant experience in the mining regions of the west where the miners carry revolvers and ehoot over a dif ference of opinion as they do in Ken tucky. Mr. Ames on account of his youth and strength has quickly recover ed from the shot fired by an "enraged miner. His many friends are delighted to see him back again unharmed. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Howe entertained in honor of Mrs. Manchester and Mrs. Rollins on Tuesday evening. Six handed euchre was plajed, and Mrs, Mullen, Miss Carson and Mr. Hargreaves won the prizes.
