The three literary societies of the uni versity, the Union, Palladian and Delian, joined foices and made the ante-holiday reception a joint one. Tuesday evening the ladies of the Pythian sisterhood entertained their friends royally at the Pythian hall. The time was occupied with cards in pro gressive high five.
