The cycle skating party given by Miss Found on Tuesday afternoon at the large hall in the Halter block, was a very pleasant affair. Most of the societ people were present, if only for a half hour, during the afternoon. The floor was admirable, the skates were of the best make and the orchestra inspired the most timid to try the skates. Many of the best skaters in the rinks of ten or a dozen years ago were at first afraid to try, but as soon as the skates were fast ened on, the old trick of balance and glide returned and at all times the roDtn was full of graceful and accomplished skaters. The cycle skates were not much used because it is more difficult to balance on these new fangled affairs. The afternoon brought back vividly the exciting times in the old rink. Many girls then are among the married set now. As they whirled about the room expressions of pleasure were heard that the old delight bad returned. Ices were served by Misses Whiting.
